About LOE

YOUR HOST:
CAM WARD

Cameron Ward is a cultural producer, media host, and creative entrepreneur building infrastructure for Indigenous and emerging voices in the American Southwest and beyond. A proud member of the Pueblo of Isleta and a graduate of the University of Southern California, she works at the intersection of media, economic development, and contemporary Indigenous expression.

She is the Founder and Creative Director of Art Off the Rails, a cultural business launched in 2024 that develops exhibitions, public activations, and strategic storytelling initiatives designed to expand visibility for artists and creative entrepreneurs. Now operating across New Mexico and California, her work centers on cross-regional collaboration and building sustainable creative economies rooted in community.

Cameron currently serves as guest curator for the Native Voices Exhibition under the Public Art program of the City of Albuquerque, leading a multidisciplinary showcase amplifying Indigenous artists through contemporary storytelling and public engagement. The exhibition is expected to debut March 19 at Gallery 1 in Albuquerque Civic Plaza, creating a central civic space for Indigenous representation and cultural dialogue.

Earlier in her career, Cameron co-founded Iconica Magazine, an independent editorial business spotlighting artists, cultural leaders, and small business owners throughout New Mexico. That foundation in editorial storytelling shaped her long-term strategy: narrative control is economic power.

In media, she hosts and produces content for the Leaders of Enchantment podcast, interviewing entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers redefining New Mexico’s cultural and business landscape. Through strategic distribution and intentional conversation, she is building a media presence that bridges culture and commerce.

Grounded in her background in government and civil rights work, Cameron approaches creative leadership with structural discipline and long-term vision. Her work is driven by a clear philosophy: storytelling is infrastructure — and when Indigenous voices lead their own narratives, they lead markets, institutions, and culture.

As she expands into national conversations, Cameron Ward is not building moments — she is building systems that make Indigenous creativity visible, viable, and economically sustainable

Our mission: Inspire.

Seasoned entrepreneur Doug Campbell launched Leaders of Enchantment in 2024 to inspire and support New Mexico's growth by featuring influential leaders and their stories.

After spending more than two decades building companies in Colorado’s Front Range, Doug has a vision to help see New Mexico live up to its full potential.

Through open-ended conversations about each guest’s life, work, and passions, Doug and Cam share stories that can inspire all New Mexicans to strive for greatness.

Put simply, Leaders of Enchantment is our effort to drive growth and innovation in New Mexico by sharing stories of success, resilience, and leadership from local and national figures.
